Who We Are

I have always maintained an active lifestyle, but in 2009, after sustaining a significant back injury that resulted in immediate sciatica, my life underwent a dramatic shift. During my recovery, I sought the expertise of my cousin, Mark, a licensed professional therapist, who introduced me to his advanced therapeutic methods. Through his guidance, I was able to recover more efficiently and gain a deeper understanding of physical rehabilitation and wellness.

I started in this industry 31 years ago as a patient. A friend from church had a
office in Norwalk and I hurt my shoulder at work. Just prior to getting hurt I got
married and was blessed with my first daughter 6 months later.
As a kid I remember when ever my dad would hurt his back we would take trips to
a man’s home and my dad would go in hurting and com out able to walk
straighter and in less pain. Later as I got older I found out that man was a
sobador (Mexican for massage therapist as close a description I can give in
English). There was a day when I was a teenager I saw my dad crawl into our
living room. When I asked if I could help him my mom said the sobador was on
his way. On that day I was able to witness what he did to my dad and it sparked
my interest. As life goes and me being a dumb teenager I had to make several
trips to the sobador. Anyways at that time I didn’t pursue trying to learn the art of
sobador, curve ball I met my wife and got married at 19. Remember the second
sentence. As I was being treated for my work injury I went to school for X-ray
which started my career in the medical industry. While being treated my friend

asked me if I wanted to help him set up an X-ray in his office. While doing the X-
ray room at the office I left my job as a tech to learn body work at my friend’s

office. Over several years I was taught his technique by him and two other
therapist. During this time we started to refine the technique and that was the
start of the work I do now. Over the years I have added to the technique but the
core is the same.

The treatment was designed as a preventative care but we got known for getting
athletes back to their workouts in a shorter time than the normal . The therapy is
not a feel good massage and it also not a one time and you are healed. Our goal
is to make you feel as you did prior to your injury and much might include having
to refer to chiropractor, physical therapy, acupuncture and so one.
In 2004 I left the office and started a office in Orange County with a business
partner. For the next 18 years I continued to learn how to better treat my clients
injuries so the therapy changed a little more. In those 18 years I was blessed to
be able to work on a lot of people from different occupations. I worked on people
just starting on their athletic career, the seasoned weekend warriors and
professional athletes. So over 30years in the industry I took a year off for health
issues. Now it is time to do what I love and that is getting people out of pain and
back to what they love to do.
